We met again with our first grade writing buddies. Today's topic was poetry. Our first grade buddies are poetry experts, as they have been studying poetry writing 3rd quarter. In order to write a poem with our buddy we had to come up with an idea that stemmed from something we had in common. We also had to learn to "share the pen" to allow all buddies the chance to write. We are excited to meet again next week to finish our first drafts and begin editing our poems!
