Through sponsorship by our amazing PTO, we have a resident naturalist, Mrs. Laura Peterson. As an "nature expert" she is able to take our classes out into many of our outdoor classrooms and help the children learn to observe the world around them.
Before venturing outside, Mrs. Peterson asked if we had remembered to bring our nature tools... Oh no! Had we forgotten?? It turned out that we had everything we needed: our eyes to look closely, our ears to listen, or noses to smell, our hands to touch, and our tongues to taste (but we don't use our tasting tool during nature class!)
